The company was founded in Stykkisholmur, Iceland in 1991. The company is a family owned operation which cleans Eiderdown from farmers all around Iceland and runs the Icelandic Eider Center. Owners are all Eiderdown farmers in the islands of Breiðafjörður. The company exports Eiderdown as well as producing their own products.
