Part of a good eiderdown duvet is the cover that is used for the eiderdown. We put a lot of emphasis on using only high-quality natural materials that are lightweight and soft and suit you, as well as the eiderdown. We have over 30 years of experience using the fabric used for this product.
The fabric is light, soft and comfortable at the same time. The fabric is 100% Suvin cotton imported from Japan and certified according to the Oeko-Tex class standard 100. It is both anti-mite and anti-bacterial.
In order f or the duvet to last as long as possible, good handling is essential.

The eider duck is a local bird in Iceland all year round, and its down protects it well against the winter cold, which it sheds during the nesting season to keep the eggs warm.
The eider duck is a wild bird in Iceland. As soon as the chicks are hatched, the mother takes the chicks to the beach so they can find food to eat and the nest is left abandoned. The eider duck leaves the eiderdown and does not return to the nest until a year later when she begins nesting again and the down is once again shed from her breast.
